WRMCSN Race for Life!

Hello everyone,

I hope you're having a good school year so far! It's that time of year again for the Women's Resource Medical Center's Annual Race for Life on October 15th!!! 

The Women's Resource Medical Centers of Southern Nevada exist to save the lives of unborn children by sharing the love of Jesus Christ through spiritual, physical, emotional and educational support of our clients. We as students for life are supporting WRMC's ministry through volunteering and fundraising!

Please stop by and see us at our table for resources, info, and fun!

If you'd like to join us walking or running, please sign up! There will be fun activities, music, booths, and of course the walk/run! SOS Radio hosts will MC the event!!!  You can raise funds for WRMC and be eligible for prizes too! If you sign up to walk or run, you can get a free t-shirt! Please help our team out!

You can e-mail family and friends too to invite them to come or sponsor you with donations!! If you won't be walking or running, please wear your SFL t-shirts!

WRMCSN Race for Life 2016!

Hello Students!

We hope you are having a wonderful summer!

Last year, our group participated in the Women's Resource Medical Center's Race for Life!  It was a lot of fun and for a great cause!  This year the race will be held October 15th, 2016!  Will you and your families be able to join us?  The Students for life of Las Vegas and UNLV Students for Life will have tables at the event, so come stop by and see us!

First Choice Pregnancy Services Festival for Life!

Hello everyone!

First Choice Pregnancy Services is having their annual festival for Life Walk/5K on April 2, 2016!  This is a fundraising event.  You can raise money and participate in either the walk or 5K.  They will also have a Steps of Life Scavenger Hunt, baby parade, face painting, and you can meet some of our partners in Life and fellowship with others who have a heart for the unborn.

Our group participated last year and it was so much fun!  I would love if we could double our group representation at this event!!!

23rd Annual Lights for Life Mass and Prayer Vigil!!!!

Hello everyone!!!  Happy new year!!!  

This Friday is the 43rd anniversary of the Supreme Court decision of Roe v. Wade.

We will be attending a special Pro-Life Mass and prayer vigil

 this Friday, January 22, 2016 @ 12:00-2:00pm.

The Mass will be held at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church at 12:00pm

315 S Casino Center Blvd, Las Vegas, Nevada 89101

From there we will walk/drive over to the Lloyd D. George U.S. Federal Courthouse.

333 Las Vegas Boulevard South, Suite 2058 Las Vegas, NV 89101

The prayer vigil will begin at 1:00pm 

This interdenominational pro-life event is a somber reminder of the over 55 million pre-born babies that have been legally aborted in this country since the 1973 U.S. Supreme Court decision Roe v. Wade.  Prayer, testimonies, and songs of praise highlight this peaceful event.

We hope you can join us for one or both of these events!!!

Living Grace Home Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser

Hello all!

Applebee's is hosting Flapjack Fundraisers for Living Grace Home!

When: Saturday, Nov. 7                                         When: Saturday, Nov. 14

Both dates offer a full breakfast of pancakes, eggs, sausage, coffee, and juice for $10 a plate.  50% of the profits will go to Living Grace Home.  Bring your family and friends to come enjoy and support a good cause!

Also for us students, they could use some volunteers.  A few of us from the SFLLV group have volunteered before and it was a lot of fun!  You can still enjoy a breakfast as well, and use this time as volunteer hours for school!  If you'd like to help out, please contact me at studentsforlifelv@gmail.com.  Please RSVP soon, as they need to know how many our group will have.
