The March for Life is this Saturday!

Hello everyone!

This weekend is the big event!  First Choice Pregnancy Center's March for Life!  If you haven't already signed up for the march, please go to https://www.eventbrite.com/ and register for our team!  When you do, you'll receive an e-mail with a ticket to the event.  It's a free event, but it's a great way to keep track of everyone and you can enter that ticket into a raffle upon arrival at the event.

Once you register, you can begin collecting donations and sponsorships for First Choice for fun prizes and incentives.  When you raise $75, you qualify to receive your free t-shirt!  our group fundraising goal is $2000! Please help us reach that goal! 

If you are not able to attend or march please consider making a donation to our team at www.firstchoicefriendslv.org  We greatly appreciate any donation, big or small!!❤

Registration and collection of prizes (while supplies last) will begin at 7:30 a.m. The march will start at 9 a.m. and activities will end at 1 p.m.

Plan to join us for a day of celebration for the thousands of Babies' lives saved through the ministry of First Choice!  Festivities will include music, fun, family-oriented activities, carnival games, a baby parade (age newborn to 2 years), raffles, recognition, prizes, and much more!

It is now March of 2017!  We have a few events coming up this month that you won't want to miss!!

Women's Resource Medical Center of Southern Nevada is volunteering at the annual As They Grow Consignment Sale March 13th &14th 3:00pm-8:00pm!  We need volunteers from our group to help set up the sale!  Please RSVP ASAP to let me know what day and time would work best for you!

First Choice Pregnancy Center is holding their annual fundraising March for Life on March 18th!  Our group, Students for Life Las Vegas and Friends, has it's own team!  Register for our team here!!  You can also fundraise towards our group goal of $2000!  There will be amazing prizes and team incentives for raising money.  The more you raise the more you win!  Please register for our team so I can give you a pledge form to collect donations!  Donations can also be made online!

American Life League (ALL) Life Defenders is having a pro-life t-shirt contest from February 20th-April 10th! This is an awesome way to support our group and get a pro-life t-shirt for yourself or a friend!  Just visit http://lifedefender.org/contest/ and purchase your t-shirt and type in "Students for Life Las Vegas" in the “company” field on the checkout page!  Until Tuesday, they are doing a special discount of $10 per shirt with the code FLASH!  

When you purchase a t-shirt, you are helping SFLLV raise money to abolish abortion in our lifetime!

First Choice Pregnancy Center is holding their annual March for Life on Saturday, March 18, 2017! Please join the Students for Life Las Vegas team to raise money and march for the lives of the unborn babies! We hope to see you there! If you can't come, please consider donating to our team!

Registration will begin at 7 am, and festivities begin around 9 am. We will finish at around 12 - 1 pm.

Mark your calendars and plan to join us for a great morning of praise and celebration for the thousands of Babies' lives saved through the ministry work of First Choice! We will gather for our kick off rally at Trinity Life Center, 1000 E Saint Louis Ave, Las Vegas, 89104. Trinity "shares a wall" with the late term abortion center at the end of the cul-de-sac First Choice is located on! From Trinity we will head out on a beautiful walk (approximately 2 miles long). We will walk West on Saint Louis, South on Las Vegas Blvd, East on Sahara and "swing through" First Choice Pregnancy Services for guided tours of our newly expanded and remodeled facility! After a refreshing tour and short rest at First Choice, we'll cross back over to Trinity Life Center to pick up our vehicles.

The March for Life is one of our major fund raisers for First Choice. It's a fun, family centered event with food, prizes, balloons, worship, and lots of friendly chatter! Join us with YOUR team as we March for Life through downtown Las Vegas!  Pledge forms coming soon!

1 Million Hearts Project

Hello fellow pro-life students!  Happy St. Valentine's Day!

Next Wednesday February 22nd 2017, the Students for Life at West Tech High School are hosting the 1 Million Hearts project.  Come help us draw 1,000,000 hearts on paper to be hung as a memorial to each life lost to abortion every year in the United States.  The event will be from 1:30pm-7pm so please come for as long or as short as you like!

The address for West Tech is 11945 W. Charleston Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89135.  You can enter through the front office, they will direct you to the Cafeteria (plus there will be signs up to direct you).

There will also be pro-life info available, and we will have the option to commit to donating to Women's Resource Center as more hearts are drawn. Food will be provided.  If you can, please bring baby items to donate and they will be given to Living Grace Home and Women's Resource Center!

Protest Planned Parenthood

The time has come to defund America’s abortion giant! Planned Parenthood is the nation’s largest abortion chain, killing over 300,000 babies each year, and nearly half of their billion dollar budget comes from our tax dollars.

But now the new 115th Congress is moving to strip Planned Parenthood of that money! On February 11, pro-lifers like you will take to the streets to demand our government stops funding an organization that specializes in killing children.

Join us at the Planned Parenthood facility in your community as we protest and pray for an end to Planned Parenthood’s massive government subsidy, and an end to abortion in our country.

Please come join the rally on February 11, 2017, 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Planned Parenthood, 3320 W.Charleston Blvd. 89102.

This event has the support of the Diocese of Las Vegas Pro-Life Liaison Committee, UNLV Students for Life, Students for Life Las Vegas, and Nevadans for Life.
